Norman L. Graham, along with his wife, Jean, started a custom home building business back in 1951 specializing in new, custom homes in Lancaster County. Norman's business was based upon excellence, integrity, and truly personalized service. Norman tailored home designs to meet the individual needs and desires of each client, while maintaining superior quality and workmanship. Although Norman and Jean's son Gerald now runs the day-to-day operations of the company, Norman's original vision is still the focus of the business.
Norman L. Graham, Inc.'s reputation of consistently providing top quality workmanship and personalized service is due in part to the faithfulness of long-term employees, and dedicated subcontractors.
Gerald Graham, a residential designer with approximately 35 years' experience, joined the firm in 1991. He enjoys the creative aspects of home design. In turn, clients coming to Norman L. Graham, Inc. benefit from Gerald's ability to take an idea or rough sketch and, with the client's input, mold it into a custom home designed exclusively for them. Gerald's wife, Linda, helps the office run smoothly by handling the bookkeeping and secretarial duties. Their son Matthew has joined the office staff after spending six years "in the field". He provides estimating services for the company's clients.
Robert Heine earned an architectural degree at Penn State and spent several years in construction and management with a builder of large custom homes in the Pottstown area prior to joining the team at Norman L. Graham, Inc. As project manager, Robert works closely with each customer from the start of construction through completion, move-in, and warranty service. Robert handles the scheduling, purchasing, quality control, customer selections and changes - striving to make the construction process stress-free and enjoyable for each client.
Norman L. Graham, Inc. also has a commitment to allow employees to have a satisfying church and family life outside of business. Gerald shares: "I'll meet clients in the evening when necessary, but generally we all work from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is a church and family-oriented group. Our employees are actively involved in their churches as well as various other community organizations."
