Custom Additions

While we specialize in building fully custom homes, Norman L Graham Inc. also provides the same expertise to custom addition and renovation projects. Indeed, the same creativity and attention to detail that clients expect from our company’s custom built homes are also applied to their remodeling jobs. Two recent examples are shown below, with before and after photos.

Addition and Renovation Project,
Bird-in-Hand, PA

This project took a small, nondescript home and expanded it into a 4,000 square foot masterpiece. Since the house is located near a small airport, the owner wanted to be able to taxi his plane off the runway into his garage-hanger. The oversized three car garage easily accommodates three cars as well as the plane. Access is provided by means of a hydraulic lift that raises the entire gable end of the garage, providing an entrance for the airplane.

This unique project received an “Award of Excellence” from the Lancaster County Building Industry Association Remodeler’s Council.

Addition and Renovation Project, Millersville, PA

This project took a typical 1920s, two-story brick home and added a three car garage, master bedroom, and swimming pool enclosure. All of these elements were carefully blended with the original style of the home, enhancing the home’s overall aesthetic appeal. The addition and renovations helped update the house without losing any of the original beauty.

This project was featured as a Spotlight Article in the Fall 2008 issue of Renovations & Additions Magazine, Lancaster County's Home Improvement Guide.

Award Winning Basement Renovation Project, Lancaster, PA

This project took a formerly nondescript, typical block wall basement and transformed it into a living area for out of town guests. It contains a small kitchen, living room, bedroom, and full bath. The owner also included a personal exercise room.

This project was awarded best basement renovation by the Building Industry of Lancaster Company Remodeler’s Competition in 2009.
